When We Were Kings

Cool kids like Quartermain and Jess woulda driven dream machines like this.
I had beat up farm trucks - but even they beat walking.

  1. Ahh; the underdash eight-track. Mine accented the dash of the 1959 Ford Fairlane I bought for $300.00 US. That Boston tape was the very first one I ran through that player...

I could only wish for the Hurst four on the floor... I did have the barefoot gas pedal though!

  2. Mustang rag top, 289, automatic.

  3. My brother had a 68 Firebird with that same pioneer stereo. If memory serves it cost $600.00 in 1978 dollars. He had the foot pedal and the Boston tape too.
Dunno if Jack could a blown him off the road, but that monster had enough jam to at least give him a good run for his money.
I'd love to have that car today... but I am still driving pick up trucks. And motorcycles...
