Hrrmmmm…it’s been awhile.
Did they leave the trans-uranics out?
When I was a kid they were still isolating some of elements on the periodic table. I think a couple others were man made and couldn’t be found in nature outside the labs. I used to have a reference binder with one of those in it and a spare. I used it everyday.
I can only wonder what that thing looks like now…
So there I was in Iraq in 2019. The RCAF had just brought in a load of helium gas and the aircrew was trying to explain what it was to the Iraqi customs officer saying it was used to blow up balloons (that didn't work so well--trying to pantomime balloon isn't very effective--I was trying to stifle my laughter). So, I drew out the periodic table (the first five or six elements) and showed him where He was on it--he was good with that. The periodic table will become the next Rosetta Stone, I tell 'ya.
