those are Russian, right ? I remember they had a small fleet of them back in the 1980's for their marines like. I think they can even carry tanks and BMP's although that was a long time ago. didn't they also have some kind of mother ship that they used to transport them in ? I remember seeing a training film on them once with them going over beaches and swamps and ice. and then a lot of troops and BMPs would come out of them.

ReplyDeleteBiggest LCAC's ever built. I believe they still have 5 or 6 still in Service. You might see them soon, going in to Odessa Harbor.
