Looks complicated, but I have a very similar rig on my 1957 vintage Winchester model 71.
No.4 Mk II has a ladder sight with similar adjustments. I figure in actual use, that is too complicated. Target gun. It is amazing how you can use that contraption to chemically launch a .311 diameter slug 500 yards downrange and hit a target. That is almost magic.
I am fascinated by the designing, and machining of the sight..Everything has to be spot on.
That will help tighten up those groups.

Reminds me of some of the really old mill machinery I worked on back in the day. Mechanically complicated and designed by geniuses.
Just don't drop it in the mud.
