I was lost the second I saw the pups. Hannah is the runt but one of the fellas said earlier that you take the mutt that is interested in you..."you let the puppy choose you". So... we got the shrimp of the batch... HAR HAR HAR!!!
We are doing spectacularly well, A. She doesn't like her crate yet... but that will change. She is so young she doesn't even do the leash or walking very good... but she learns so fast...
Hanna the wife, girlfriend? If it is the brown thing, it is hard to distinguish that it is perhaps a dog? Not trying to come across as a sarcastic jerk... What kind of dog?
She is cute, Phil. EVERYTHING is new to her and interesting. It's been years since I had a real puppy... all mine have been pound dogs that are two or three years old when I get them.
I'm glad for y'all. I lost my "last shepherd" in late 2020. Wife saw how out of sorts I became. We now have a one year old King Shepherd. Amazing dog. Helped so much with the loss of the prior one.
His back legs get tangled up kind of regularly, Glen. The Queen Of The World has started slipping him bites of her dinner (at the table) and I’m not stopping her.
smart move ! Hanna will be good for you guys and Mort. in hind sight, we wished we did the same thing for our good boy Slim wife thinks he just gave up because of a broken heart. wishing many good years with her. never did the crate training thing myself. just didn't seem right to me, locking up a dog. again, good times with her. and better pictures please !
Dogs are den animals, and the crate becomes her den, a refuge of safety and comfort. Once that happens, there will be very little need to even shut the door on it. As ours matured, we graduated from a crate to a dog couch, and now we have three of them. One in the bedroom, one in the trailer, and one in the back seat of the pickup (her princess throne).
Now ya dunnit. You let somebody put one of those furballs in your hands, and all sense just melts. Mort looks pleased as punch too. Congratulations.
