Only The Police And Military Should Be Allowed To Have Guns…

I may get egged by the the experts and cool kids out there but I don’t care: if you are gonna live and die by the gun…the HK USP are the best of the breed of the polycarbonate composite guns. The USP can be run the same as your beloved 1911…as in cocked and locked. Or you can run it with the combination safety de-cocker as seen on guns like the CZ75. The Euros seem to like that system best. The only real bitch I have about mine is the polygonal rifling which is not recommended for cheap cast lead boolits. Yeah…supposedly hard cast won’t bung them up… but I see lead fouling when I run them so I stick to jacketed ammo in mine.

Supposedly serious squaddies and police officers do it all the time in perfect safety when they are trained and proficient. To me this looks like a holster issue…the gunnie equivalent of a ‘garment failure’. I seriously wonder what the best way to carry these things is. I’m not fond of quick draw rigs. I like full flap rigs that protect the gun because I am forever clunking into things, or doing awkward stuff that could produce retarded situations like this one.

  2. That barrel tilted up looks unsafe to me. If seated, a 'Tanker' style off side chest carry might be an option. If restricted to belt carry, a flap holster does make a lot of sense. Nobody is squaring off Dodge City quick draw contests and belt guns take a lot of damage moving about..

  3. I did 32 years in the military. I have relatives who are cops. Now having this first hand knowledge I can state that one can not trust the military or the police.

  6. Yikes! Maybe that's a auto-tracking deal like sat on the Predator's shoulder?

  7. When I was an MP in the Army, we used full flap holsters. When I got out and joined my county Sheriff department as a reserve we were issued open holsters and didn't like it. I too bump into things and having that open holster I was worried someone could grab it and use against me. The full flap holster was to me out of sight, out of mind. I didn't find it to be a hindrance to pulling the weapon out after practicing how to draw from it.

  9. Try powder coating your lead slugs. No fouling and pretty colors. I like the lipstick red.

  10. Welp. Mexico isn't usually anywhere close to the first country that comes to mind when considering things like 'professional law enforcement' or 'safe firearms handling'.

That holster looks like some piece of crap Fobus he probably bought off Amazon. I doubt he even knows the holster is canted upwards like that. He should bin it and get himself a Safariland ALS/SLS before he gets himself or someone else killed.
