I dated woman with a black kid in my misspent youth. It was apparent, really fast, that it wasn't going to last. It's also why I told my son to stay away from women with kids, unless maybe the dad died and she's a widda. More than one kid, more than one father, run like hell.

In general, yes. There are exceptions to every rule. I married a widow with two teenagers. We were 35 at the time, and our 34th anniversary is coming up. Daughter and granddaughter are nurses, son is a PhD Geologist. As for multi-ethnic kids, the rule still stands: "Don't stick it in the crazy!"

The free sex movement. Back when you had to date a woman for a year, ask her dad's permission for marriage, and then get married before sex, 99% of these entitled women would quickly learn their market value and start shopping accordingly.
Now, when you can hook up nightly (not me, too old), these homely low-value women fall into the "I'll f##k anything once" bucket for good looking chads. Problem is, once the good looking chad has had his fun, the girl starts thinking she's high value to snag a night with him. Nope, girl, you were just another 2 am bar find.
I read an article about a year ago that summarized the search results from dating websites. Unbeknownst to them, the desired expectations that the women entered in their search criteria were gathered and recorded. The result was that the majority of women were looking for a man who was a "triple six" - at least six feet tall, had at least a six inch member, and made at least six figures. I did the math on that combination using the median values for each attribute in American males and computed that this combination was found in about 2.7 men per thousand, or about 1/4 of 1% of the male population. Any man who fits that bill is not going to settle for a woman with all that baggage - they afford to be very choosy.
used to work with a very good looking gal who was smart and made good money too. her hubby fuck around and they divorced she was shocked when I told her she had joined the ocean of women out there with kids looking for mister right. she didn't want to hear that very few men want a "instant family" I told her . her best bet was to find a single dad and hope for the best. last I heard, she was still looking. and that was 10 years ago
