Thursday Spider Man Music: Walloping Websnappers!

Or is it called “Green Onions”…?

When I was a kid there were three TV channels: CFRN Sunwapta, CBC (English) and CBXT (fwench). For us little kids, there were 3 cartoons…Spider-Man, Rocket Robinhood, and Rocky and bullwinkle. Yep…there was a reason us kids played outside. There was nothing on TV for us. Sure..you could watch those cartoons if you were stuck inside for some reason…but they were a last ditch proposition.

There were only 3 episodes of Spider-Man made…and they re-ran them till the end of
my childhood and beyond.

All three episodes sucked…but the music is still
pretty cool.
😆👍

  1. I always thought Spiderman was a stupid superhero. I used to live in the deserts of Arizona and it occured to me most of his superpowers were useless when all there are are cats claw, saguaro, ans occotillas.

  3. You know its a good blog post when it includes a music video of anything from "Live From Daryl's House."

  4. That is one of my all time favorites. The best version is towards the end of the movie American Graffiti when John Milner and Bob Falfa were headed out to drag race. Ha that pinko commie harrison ford wrecked his car in the race.

Yep Dudley Duright was one of my favorites as a kid.

  5. Woody Woodpecker, Chilly Willy and Bugs Bunny!
    Those old toons are classic.
There is a brilliant "propaganda" cartoon from the 1940's that explains socialism or the stepping stone to communism.

  6. I remember those shows. Growing up on 'peasant vision', I had those channels, plus the local CITV (now called Global). They had those shitty cartoons, plus that 'Mighty Hercules' one. I think they played 'Inspector Gadget' back then, too.

I preferred to play outside, instead.
