I was shocked to learn that the maintenance guys have pins that go in the landing gear to prevent accidental gear retract while the bird is sitting on the ground. It just confirms my belief that jet engines, vectored thrust, and stealth planes are merely a passing fad. When common sense re-asserts itself, we shall see a return to tail draggers, rag and tube construction, and knee boards and maps for aviation.
Probably other skid marks involved in that landing.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have to use full power to taxi, You probably forgot the landing gear.
ReplyDeleteDonuts. You're doing them wrong.
