I think the KABOOM lower has a crack just forward of the bolt catch, so the lower is a write off. And even without the crack, I still think its a write off. All the internal parts, pins, and springs should be OK, but shy of non destructive testing you cannot be sure. You end up with the grip, buttstock, recoil spring and tube, and the muzzle brake or flash hider from the upper.
A little JB Weld and some baling wire wrap would probably get the top rifle back into shape. (Kidding!)

The bottom rifle is a good example that just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should do it.
I wonder what could be salvaged from that KABOOM, John? Think the lower would still be good...?
