I always just decompress when Private MacKenzie is running his drills. It is so relaxing, seeing such drills run with proper dress, equipment, armament and technique!
Glen, that was a thing! The weight he was throwing is equivalent to the Heavy Weight for Distance thrown in Men's Highland Games. My best throw ever was 21 ft. I am usually more near 18 ft.
Rob is a machine. He did the spring cabin fever shoot in a kilt, where you shoot from all the positions. So he went from offhand, to kneeling, to sitting, to prone... in 3” of ice cold slush. And - he shot like a champ! Getting those old Martini Henry rifles to shoot is an achievement all in its own. That guy has found his niche in life.
