Camp Guns

I would love to have that humpie-backed shottie. I have no idea what I would actually do with it ... but these things look beautiful even when they’re chopped. Mind you... I suppose I say that at the risk of being beaten to a bloody green pulp by angry stubfarts and sportsmen traditionalists who would consider the Browning to be the ultimate waterfowl gun...

    1. AND....its round-count capacity is not diminished. In the least.

Now just shorten that stock.....and you have a superb house gun.........................

  4. Yannow fellas, I have never had trouble with bears. Wasn't it Mumbly Joe that said people don't need AR15s because you can defend your home with a shottie? He actually got one right for a change and deserves at least part marks. But the dumbass doesn't get that you need the AR to defend your community. If all I were concerned about was self defense for the home or camp... yep... doesn't get any better than that, does it?

  5. That barrel length is jail time in FUSA. From a practical POV, very effective.

  6. No. Just no. That shotgun hack is an abomination before God and a slap in the face of JMB. If you want a sawed off shotgun (and yes, that is quite illegal in the States) do it with a cheap pump or double barrel, as is traditional. Jeez, you think you know some people.......

  7. That shotgun looks very nice, great after dark security blanket to be kept close on person.

  8. My dad had a 16 Gauge (made in Belgium) Browning that he used for bird hunting in the 50s and 60s. He offered it to me when his hunting career was over. SADLY.....I did not take it. Not even sure if 16 gauge ammo is even available now.

He also had a Winchester Model 1910 (as I recollect in .401, a real thumper cartridge, a carbine as well. Also did not take that. I remember in the 60s, whenever we road tripped, a lot of stops at local hardware stores looking for ammo for it. I also did not take that weapon. Sadly. I think you could probably find or manufacture ammo for it today, expensive though, per round. I do have about 30 rounds of 200g Remington Kleen-Bore for it (green box). Hindsight is 20/20.

  9. As regards my previous post, 200gr, not 200g on the Kleen-Bore.....
