Hear that noise? Sounds like a circus clown making balloon animals for the kiddies? HAR!!! Why - that is Yours Truly, and I am being so tight - you can hear me squeak right over the innernet! HAR HAR HAR! HAR HAR HAR!!!
If you were by last week, ya might have heard me bloviating about my third go on recycling wax for the trash candle. Each time the wicks burn away, I gather up the left over wax, melt it down and make another candle! I gotta tell ya - I was mighty proud of my frugality. But then one of the fellas piped up in the comments about how he keeps the scraps of soap, and once he has enough of them he just moistens them and squishes them all together to form another bar or half-bar of soap! Not bad. Not bad at all.
I've decided to make a hobby out of frugalness (with obvious exception of my frivolities like guns, archery, hunting, camping, etc). Today I am going to try re-cycled tea bags. Yannow I may have done this before but never deliberately. There are so many things I take for granted. When ya run out of tea, the old lady simply buys more - like clockwork. I remember well the old geezers when I was a kid complaining about what pussies and wastrels we were - we've never been cold, or hungry and we take everything for granted, blah blah blah. It's true too. I will take the verbal abuse of the extremely old in this manner - but when the younger ones try to do it I tell them to FOAD! Like they have ever been hungry or cold? Okay, Boomer! HAR!!!
But I digress. If the experiment fails - I am only out of a pot of hot water.
Recycled Canadian Red Rose! I am a man of sophisticated class and taste!
