ReplyDeleteBullseye shooting as a sport is a demanding sport. It is shot one handed. A normal course of fire for a match, simplified, is as follows:
Target #1 - 10 rounds in 10 min. @ 50yds
Target #2 - 10 rounds in 10 min. @ 50yds
Target #3 - 10 rounds in 10 min. @ 50yds
Target #4 - 5 rounds in 20 sec. @ 25 yds (2X)
Target #5 - 5 rounds in 10 sec. @ 25 yds (2X)
Target #6 - 5 rounds in 20 sec. @ 25 yds (2X)
Target #7 - 5 rounds in 20 sec. @ 25 yds (2X)
Target #8 - 5 rounds in 10 sec. @ 25 yds (2X)
Target #9 - 5 rounds in 10 sec. @ 25 yds (2X)
Total of 90 rounds, 900 total points
Full matches consist of 3 of these courses of fire.
One shot with a .22 pistol
One shot with a centerfire pistol
One shot with a .45 ACP
Normal winning scores are in the 880’s for a 900 on each, 2640’s or better for a full match.
