A lot of folks are incredibly bitter about Trashcanistan right now and saying the end of this war was entirely predictable 20 years ago. The international power players, the eeeevil military/industrial complex, the eeevil Jewry all made out like bandits while in real terms - all they did is spend a couple trillion dollars bombing the chit out of some ignorant moslem fig farming goat feltchers. They post up a rude joke like this and think they’re smart and that their pedo president is some kind of peace maker.
Yeah… maybe.
But… what if the mutts in that tent are planning a 911 level event? Biden just told the world that terrorism works. It might be a couple years… but the attacks will resume soon, and this nonsense will start all over again. In real terms… a $350,000.00 bomb is chump change.

Anything useful could have been accomplished in six weeks and then we should have left. This was only going to end one way and anyone with a brain could see that 20yrs ago.
No clear thinking person could think we were going to bring democracy to those people. Nation building is a racket, a giant lie to allow enormous profits at the expense of the tax payer and the lives and limbs of our soldiers.
Our being in Afghanistan for 20 fucking years did not prevent any terrorist attacks. Zero!
Oh, and your biggest mistake is still thinking we are the good guys. Tell me the last time the US military was deployed to defend the US and not meddle in someone else's affairs. We have killed 10's of thousands of people for profit. And before you accuse me of bad mouthing the military, I was a US Army Cav scout for 6yrs. Our soldiers are the best and their hearts are in the right place but they have been badly misused.
