Don't Waste Your Money.

 It's a gimmick.

I saw Hickock 45 on OyTube flogging these - or at least the ad came up on his channel.

Dry fire. Put a small target up on the wall, load your gat with snap caps (made especially for dry fire practice). Pull through the trigger, when the hammer falls - note where your sights fall. Practice safe handling so that it becomes second nature too.

I have shot against the pros and when they blow a shot, they know where it went. They remember exactly where the sights were when the hammer fell, and they can tell by the recoil of they might have pooched something else in the aiming, squeeze, follow up in the shooting process.

Snap caps are a far better use for your money. And ammo - real ammo, of course!  :)

  1. I downloaded the free version and found a laser cap online for cheap. The laser dot will show as a streak if you flinch or jerk the trigger. Don’t use the app much as I’m not concerned as much where I’m hitting as how. Downside is it’s a single shot process with a semi. Great draw and first shot practice, not so much for multiple target/ double tap work.

    1. True. I am not a pro by any means either I suppose. I shouldn't talk like I am...

  3. I didn't really get serious about practice until I retired . Now sometimes I will quick draw my P90 up to 100 times a day . On average probably 50 times . I'm gettin' to be another Jerry Miculek, heh . Not really . Jerry is crazy fast . And accurate .

    1. I'm retired, and I'm not serious about practice. Also, I don't own a P90, which, no offense intended, is an ugly automatic but the way it's set up I'm betting you can drill stuff with it.

  4. I'm going to get myself some snap caps, a holster or two, and start practicing. Because, well, what if my number never comes up, and I'll have wasted all that preparation. But then, what if it does?

  5. It may be a gimmick, but an earlier version of this (A "Lightload" by Jafin, I still have it) definitely improved my accuracy. I'll freely admit I'm not a pro, and I'll take all the help I can get.
