they will do what they are told they are not there to protect lives and property, they are there to draw a paycheck human nature, entirely base without the Holy Spirit
Australian. For the first time in my life, I do not trust the police at all. You have no idea how much of a seismic shift this is for me. After watching the way they have treated protestors in Melbourne and even their revenue-raising mask enforcement approach - I'm disgusted. They are not controlling risks, solving problems and managing compliance in line with any accepted regulatory craft. I think we have all just glimpsed what lays beneath the surface. I really am wondering now about the motives behind the new "holding facilities" built at that quarantine station in north western Melbourne. The paranoid are occasionally correct.
I visited Australia back in 2014. The thing I found odd was that the cops (there were always six of them) walked around in arrowhead formation--outside or inside a mall. In N. America they usually walk around in pairs. I was in Melbourne for a week and then Sydney for a week--and this was how your cops patrolled--like a half section of infantry
yeah, yeah, until you need one , then "omg i'm so glad to see you". that said, i left the pd when it became obvious that protect and serve had turned into law enforcement ie: beat the little man down b/c i am the law. yes, we need to have that "talk" w/ leo's and the bureaucrats too, like the health dept ijits that closed businesses over this covid scam. take them out back n have a word, as it was done back in my youth. i've said for a long time things went wrong when it became a felony to kick someone's ass that richly deserved it.
Pig fors one thing.
ReplyDeleteSame with retired pigs
Nazi enforcers for HOAs
Pig needs to hurt others.
It's what they do
It has been a long slow slide from respected "Peace Keeper" to reviled "Law Enforcement". The choice of title (and behavior) was theirs.

ReplyDeleteI am not a guy to hate cops for being cops RR. Until recently I was a fanboy.
