So…what the devil going on here? An inverted V twin engine??? Why would you do it? And how could you do it? My very limited experience with inverted engines is that the fluids seep into the cylinder head over time and hydrostatically lock it up. Is there a way around that…?

  2. Start-up sequence where exhaust valve(s) are open through several revolutions. Then hold-open is pulled and they open normally, resulting in compression and engine starting

  3. Is this possibly a 4 cyl engine. Also, it may be a dry sump engine.

  4. Just dumb. Very old technology with marginal performance. Smart thing to do is to install one of Subaru's flat motors. Not the rocket kind, just a plain Jane motor. The suspension in that thing is 1940's technology at best. Same reason a early 911 is a handful but doable for the average driver, but a modern 1000HP is a killer to the average driver.
