Yeah, back when I was a cigarette smoker, the order of waking up was going to restroom to piss, then get a cigarette and lighter and head outside for that 1st One of the Day. The feeling of nicotine hitting brain - bliss.
Not any more though - gave that up in 1998. Still miss it though. If I had the self control to limit to two a day, I'd probably still be doing it.
Oh I know all about it. I quit around then too... for about 7 or 8 years, then started again for a few and quit again.
Every year in the summer I smoke cigars on camping trips and motorcycle rides. I will buy a tin of those little Panterra cigars and about 3 or 4 gaggers... and once they are gone I am done until next year.
That's a pretty fair stogie. When I indulge it has to be a Fuente Hemingway in about a 42 gauge. Haven't smoked since I put them down in '13 after 40 years or so. Still miss the nicotine buzz of the Marlboro Red, though. The after stench not so much.

But I don't so I won't.

I suppose I am technically a smoker still...
Couple cigars a month, usually in the woods. One bowl of pipe tobacco a day but not everyday. Never got into cigarettes.
