Looks to me like the pouches are worn "hip to thigh" on the "strong hand" side. Good kit, don't see anything not useful there. But then again I grew up in mid-state Maine when "woodcraft" was a thing.
Don't understand where the wood bits fit into the picture. Where is the tool to make the dowels? Seems like something is missing.
I'll take the ax and bits. I'll have a longhouse built by Saturday !
