If you are a whining pansie or a grumpy old bastid coping with geezer pains… this baby will gently compress your wrist area and support it while your body figures out what it’s going to do. There are cheap knockoffs but get the good one. It saved my bacon at night when my wrist throbbed so bad I couldn’t sleep. There’s a removable steel splint in it that can lock you right in like a cast if needs be.

Y’know I still don’t know why that drama all happened. I wasn’t doing any chores or fighting with the dawgs or tards… it just happened out of the blue. I’ll be right as rain after a hearty meal of canned liver loaf, boiled cabbage and white navy beans.  If ya eat right - poor health can often be averted.

  1. Some sort of carpal tunnel/wrist damage from repetitive motion. Like keyboarding/typing or working a machine the same way over and over. You don't notice the damage till years after it's been done.

I wear one on the right and sometimes another on the left from 30+ years of being a keyboard commando and martial arts.

    1. I think it was from abusing himself as a young lad with stolen Playboy magazines...

  2. Have your Uric acid level checked. Allopurinol has been a Godsend. I have limped in to work numerous times. Wrist, feet bones, elbow, fingers, you name it. I have been pain free for years now. It’s cheap medicine!

  3. Not sure my good man.

I get something similar and I work on computers all day. A Doc said it was inflammation in my case but I think he was full of sh1t – based on his other opinions.

I used wrist straps until the body sorted it out. Hint – I avoid docs normally - they generally give you bad news!

PS - This is not medical advice. This is possibly a clue why men die earlier.

  4. Had mild carpal tunnel a few years ago. This really relieved the pressure and pain.

  5. I don't think I would enjoy being in your presences with you eating that menu. I am sure the blowback would be eye watering.

  6. Ditto Cederq - sounds like the Dick Proenneke diet - just re reading Dick's journals. I think he had the right idea, and the massive skills to pull it off.

  8. Thanks for the tip. My recent bout of wrist /shoulder pain with hand swelling where the two mid fingers are which could be caused by the lower back pain/swelling/pinched nerve. Yeah...it's hell gettin' old. Gotta keep movin' though. Massage helps a great deal. At $150 for a half hour session, beats the runaround of our current medical system.
