Bark River is one of the high end production quality manufacturer of knives. Not semi-custom quality like a Randall or Ruana but in same neighborhood, practically speaking. I've had an older Bark River Stalker fixed hunting knife similar in size to this for around 20 years - they hold a good edge.
I've seen elsewhere that their workmanship and steel tempering has been a bit hit and miss lately which has dissuaded me from trying one. YMMV
I’ve had very good luck with BRK blades. Solid fit, great materials, nice designs. My favorite is their old Clax double edge.
