The womenfolk in my family tend to be artistically inclined and Grandma was a formidable cross stitcher and embroideress. My wife isn’t bad either. But that…that shines. Most guys won’t see or appreciate what’s going on here. Shading and hues…with
thread? How do they do it? Doing it with paint is child’s play by comparison, and most “artists” can’t do that, never mind something like this.
That is amazing and truly impressive.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of thread do they use for that Bobo? It would have to be like spider webbing in thinness I would think...
DeleteEmbroidery floss comes six threads to the skein. It looks like she just took one thread from six and worked with that. The shading is crazy beautiful; very skilled sewing from experienced hands.
DeleteMost of the art lauded today is something I wouldn't use to prop open the outhouse door.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I would pay good money to take that wonderful work of Art and creation home with me.
You are Blessed to have people close who have this gift.
thank You for sharing a little something that brightened my day.

Always a pleasure to see ya, Grump! :)
DeleteI am making $92/hour telecommuting. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $21 thousand a month by working on the connection, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed me to attempt it simply.
ReplyDeleteTry on this connection... www.Salarycash1.com

Her pen-and-ink drawings are good too. I'm partial to the Raven.
That is true talent and beautiful. My family has had pet rabbits for about 18 years. Down to one, he needs a good home but alas he stays here.
