Oh gawd… I develop a split personality on stuff like this. In the real world, for all practical intents and purposes, that smallest one is overkill for any but the toughest jobs for the average outdoorsman. If you’re a bush crafter… that middle one will do just fine and then some. But… oh, I loves me a decent fighter. I don’t think even a green bean United States Marine needs a big knife like that… but it’s right at home on the black powder geek’s belt!
Anyone recognize the maker?
I was going to guess TOPS knife, but their triangular symbol points to bottom instead to the top. I have a Buck Mentor that is similarly shaped to the smaller knife, but handle is synthetic working design, not this 'eye candy' pictured. The middle knife appears to be ESSE 7 or 8 length, big wilderness chopping blade. Maybe too much for spreading peanut butter on bread.
ReplyDeleteLook like Spanish Muela knives to me.
ReplyDeleteDark Timber Knives is the maker.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, A!
DeleteIll trust a good knife, over a great woman.
