I don’t get it it. How in blazes does the female human animal see the world and express it - in terms of coloured thread? Atheists can laugh at me, I don’t care… but talent like that can only come from God. Skills like these serve no evolutionary purpose whatsoever. Someone meant for us to have skills like these and others… and went to a great deal of trouble to see that we have them.
Such an attention to detail - maybe autism spectrum is involved, they can have an amazing focus on details nearly all of us miss.

My dad always said, “A man builds a house; a woman makes it a home”. Those of us with the XX chromosomes are pretty much hard-wired for this type of expression, to beautify our surroundings thereby giving praise to the Lord.

Maybe the artist was creating a memory jog for a story. For example, the 12 Days of Christmas (...and a partridge in a pear tree) song was a way of remembering various aspects of Christianity and a way to pass it on to the next generation.
ReplyDeleteRose hips might be drops of blood. Butterflies rebirth. Foxes resourceful and clever. Flax ties-that-bond. Thistles to not trust too easily. Mushrooms a deniable way to do in your enemies..and so on.
MANY things were possible before television robbed "civilized" men.
