Trust

I know that the bulk of folks that stop by are far too smart to be like this. Pretty much all understand that the media is biased and some think they can suss out what is actually happening by “reading between the lines”. I used to think like that but now I feel that the media is driving an agenda I hate set by people I hate and will not cooperate or comply with. I turned it all off, and tuned out.

For those of you of like mind… could you ever trust the media again…? What would it take?

  1. I have to agree with you, that trusting anything spewed out by MSN has to be researched and verified through several different sources. One of my main problems is wanting to believe the news put out by Conservative media. They are sometimes found to be just as slanted as well as the Left's crap.

Just give us the facts and let us decide / decode what is really going on.

  3. Yup, haven't read a newspaper for well over 30 years and haven't watched a television broadcast of any sort for at least 10, if i see an advert which is aimed at subverting all that is right as so many are i make a note to avoid the product and company for ever, do watch films etc via streaming services or dvd.
The media is owned by the same people intent on destroying the life we've known and worked hard for whilst filling their own pockets with money we earned, lives for which millions of our forebears lie in graves marked and unmarked across the world having given their own lives long before their time to defend their loved ones and our way of life.

It's all over, politicians, apparatchiks, govt and civil depts, the media, none can be trusted all are complicit to some degree in what is happening now.
I don't trust any of them and never will, the last 3 years showed not only what evil the cabal in charge are capable of but how stupid/brainwashed so many people who went along with it all truly are.
I have no answers how we go about undoing the programming so many people have willingly undergone.

    Judd.

  4. It would take the complete and utter collapse of what is now, the exile of EVERY news employee to Spitsbergen. Any new org would need a ten year track record of just the facts with impressive accuracy on previous reporting to consider trusting "news" orgs again.

Now it's an outlet for social change. Just propagandized entertainment. It isn't information by a long shot. Note how the progressive wing down here filter easily between news media and government service. There is no difference.

    1. Absolutely. After the complete collapse of culture, and subsequent rebuild resurecting common sense and basic sanity, trust will naturally return orgainically within a generation or two.

  7. If you do not read the paper then you are not informed. If you do read the paper you are misinformed. by Mark Twain. The same hold true today. What is and was available for consumption is opinion at best or nefarious propaganda at worst. What has been intentionally left out is truth.

  9. i watch wheel of fortune and the weather report. occasionally watch some british shows from pbs
    the rest is mostly trash
    'we' cannot fix it
it must die of its own corruption
the 80% are brain dead and there will never be a moral response among them
it is like being cassandra in troy, fated to give warning to deaf souls, watching the destruction but unable to stop it
