Boobs on a firearm. I Love it. It is only missing a tankard of ale in the scrolling. My Replaced shoulder would be happy with a 20ga max, i am impressed with the .410, I managed to take out three dove with one shot last year, seems perfect for that fare.
Growing up, I thought that there was really no point to anything other than a 12 gauge, unless it was a 10 gauge for pass shooting geese. Then I got wrecked in a bad car wreck - found that for the next 5 - 6 years, I just could not tolerate any significant recoil (I am much better now, 26 years later). So, I started picking up 28 gauge guns and became amazed at what a great killer that gauge is when you do your part.
With the right ammo, you could take ducks and geese over decoys; pheasants out as far as with a 12; grouse and any other upland game. It is still the first gun that I grab when a shotgun is called for.
I never got anything nearly as nice as the gun pictured though.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEither 28 gauge or maybe a 16 gauge. Just right for an African dove shoot.
