Empenage has a forward strake and the outer wingtip profile is wrong for a t-6. Also looks like the remains of a tail warning radar as well. I'd say p-51 D that probably took a prop strike as opposed to flak or cannon damage. Johnny Gee
Yep. T-6 didn’t have a retractable tail wheel or a vertical fin fairing. That’s collision damage; most likely a taxiing accident. Looks like prop strikes to the fin and overrun damage to the horizontal stab. The rudder & elevator cables are dangling too. Fixable, but it’s gonna be an ugly job.
